The Carli Pintop System takes everything great about the Backcountry and multiplies it—delivering the ultimate do-everything suspension for Ram 2500 owners who want exceptional performance on-road, off-road, and everywhere in between. Equipped with massive 2.5” King Remote Reservoir Shocks and Carli-tuned damping profiles, the Pintop transforms the Ram into a controlled, compliant, highly capable platform that rides the way heavy-duty trucks should from the factory.

This is Carli’s most popular all-around system, ideal for daily driving, towing, high-speed gravel, and slow to mid-speed off-road performance. For best results, the system is tuned around 18” wheels and 37” tires, which unlock the full ride-quality benefits of the larger shock package and increased suspension travel.

Lift & Coil Options

The Pintop lifts the truck 3"–3.5" in front depending on cab configuration and delivers 50% more suspension travel using taller, lighter-rate front coil springs. Two rear coil options tailor load performance:

  • R1 Coils:

    • 0.5"–1" rear lift

    • Softer ride

    • Max ~1,500 lb bed load

  • R2 Coils:

    • 2"–3" rear lift

    • Maintains factory payload

    • Supports ~800 lb constant load (more on lighter trucks)

Both options dramatically improve small-bump compliance and body control without sacrificing usability.

Geometry & Handling Upgrades Included

To ensure proper geometry, control, and alignment with the added travel, the Pintop includes:

  • Adjustable Track Bar to recenter the front axle

  • Radius Arm Drop Brackets to restore caster & improve steering precision

  • Bump stop drops for correct shock cycling

  • Rear Track Bar Drop Bracket or optional Carli Extended Rear Track Bar for major reduction in rear-end yaw

The optional Carli Torsion Sway Bar provides the single biggest ride-quality increase, replacing the restrictive factory bar with a freer-moving torsion design for dramatically improved comfort and articulation.

With massive 2.5” shocks, refined tuning, increased travel, and dialed geometry correction, the Pintop delivers unmatched stability, comfort, and capability for the Ram 2500 platform.

Wheel and Tire: This system will fit up to a 37” tire when utilizing wheels that are no more than 9” wide with 5.75-6” of backspacing. A 12.5” wide should fit with no rubbing on the factory radius arm and only minor trimming required, while a 13.5” will require more trimming and slightly more offset to fit properly. 35” tires will fit with VERY minimal, if any trimming. We Recommend running an 18” diameter wheel for optimal ride quality (more rubber = better small bump compliance) on a 35”-37” E-rated tire running 45psi front, 40psi rear when unloaded.
