The Carli Fabricated Leaf Spring Shackle is a direct‑fit rear suspension upgrade designed to improve ride quality and rear suspension articulation on 2003–2009 Dodge Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 4×4 trucks. Much of a leaf‑sprung truck’s harsh ride comes from the factory vulcanized bushings used in the stock shackle, which bind and resist movement because the bushing material is adhered directly to the shackle and crush sleeve.

Carli’s leaf spring shackle is constructed from 1/4″ thick cold‑rolled steel and uses serviceable, greasable bushingswith built‑in grease channels and zerk fittings for long life and improved damping. This design frees up rear suspension movement, resulting in smoother articulation, better ride comfort, and reduced jarring over bumps, whether paired with factory springs or Carli’s progressive leaf packs.
