Enhanced Ride Height and Travel:

  • Increased Front Height:
    • The system raises your truck 3.0” in the front, providing additional wheel travel thanks to lighter rate Carli Coil Springs.

  • Optimized Front Geometry:
    • Adjustable Track Bar: Centers the front axle for improved handling.
    • Stainless Brake Lines: Ensure firm braking performance with enough line for the increased travel.
    • Caster Shims: Tighten steering for a more responsive feel.
    • High-Clearance Bump Stop Drop: Prevents contact with the factory bump stop during travel.

  • Sway Bar Options:
    • Address front sway bar geometry with your choice of:
      • Sway Bar Drop Bracket: A more economical option that maintains factory sway bar end links.
      • Extended Sway Bar Links with Relocation Brackets: A robust choice for enhanced ride quality.
    • Upgrade to our full replacement Torsion Sway Bar for improved compliance and articulation with minimal body roll.

Rear Suspension Customization:

  • Leaf Spring Options:
    • Choose between a Full Progressive Spring Pack (reducing capacity to a "light" ¾-ton) or a Progressive Add-A-Pack that maintains payload capacity while eliminating the factory block.

  • F250 vs. F350 Considerations:
    • The F250 features a lighter rate spring pack (2 main leaves) compared to the F350’s stiffer setup (3 main leaves).
    • The F250 Add-A-Pack provides a noticeable improvement over stock, while the F350 may remain stiff unless loaded.

  • Capacity Solutions:
    • For optimal performance, we recommend the Full Replacement Leaf Spring Packs, especially for F350 models with stiff factory springs.
    • If capacity is a concern, consider an aftermarket airbag system to restore F350 capacity. Ensure the system allows airbags to disconnect during suspension cycling for maximum rear travel.
    • The Full Progressive Leaf Spring Pack shifts the axle slightly forward for maximum tire clearance with 37” M/T tires at full compression.

Installation Notes:

  • A proper rear-high stance requires installation of the Add-A-Pack or Full Progressive Leaf Spring Pack. Without these, an F250 may sit rear-low.
  • If a Carli rear spring option is not purchased, you can use the taller 2017-19 Ford 3″ rear block for a leveled stance, although ride quality may not be optimized (Factory Block PN: HC3Z-5598-A and HC3Z-5598-B). Which you can find HERE

 

Wheel and Tire: Factory Wheels SHOULD NOT be run with oversized tires. They’re known to rub the radius arm, sway bar and most concerning – Brake Lines. Factory tires and factory wheels will work without issue but we DO NOT recommend running oversized tires on factory wheels. On our 3.5” Ford Systems, we recommend 17”-18” wheels, no more than 9” wide with 5.5” of backspacing with Carli Fabricated Radius Arms or 5” Backspace with factory arms; 5” will require a bit more trimming. Tires, 37×12.5” will fit with some trimming; 35” will likely fit without trimming. The more rubber, the better the small bump compliance will be at proper inflation pressures.
