Introducing the Carli Pathfinder Suspension System, designed specifically for Super Duty owners who prioritize on-road comfort without sacrificing off-road confidence. This system is the ideal middle ground, offering a smooth daily driving experience while encouraging adventure beyond the pavement.

Key Features of the Pathfinder System:

  • Exceptional Ride Quality:
    • The Pathfinder delivers a controlled and predictable ride for light to moderate off-road use, making it perfect for daily drives. It absorbs small to medium imperfections effortlessly, providing a plush and comfortable driving experience.
    • While it may not match the Pintop’s high-speed off-road prowess, it shines on the road, allowing you to enjoy every journey without the need for aggressive driving.

  • Premium Shock Design:
    • Equipped with Carli-SPEC 2.5” aluminum-bodied shocks, finished with a hard-anodized coating for superior corrosion and scratch resistance.
    • Features a significant boost in oil volume—55% more piston surface area than traditional 2.0” shocks—improving heat management and extending rebuild intervals.
    • Filled with high-performance red shock oil designed to resist heat and fade, ensuring consistent damping and long-term reliability.

  • Stylish Aesthetic:
    • All billet components are black-anodized, giving you a sleek, premium look right out of the box—an upgrade that previously cost customers over $1,200 on our King kits!

Enhanced Performance Features:

  • Increased Ride Height:
    • The Pathfinder system raises your truck 5.5” in the front, enhancing ground clearance and wheel travel with taller, Progressive Rate Coil Springs.

  • Optimized Front Geometry:
    • Radius Arm Drop Brackets reset the pivot point, maintaining linear travel for the best ride possible.
    • Adjustable Track Bar centers the front axle, while Stainless Brake Lines ensure proper braking performance with increased travel.
    • Bump Stop Drops protect the shocks from over-compression, and Caster Shims tighten steering for improved handling.

  • Sway Bar Enhancements:
    • Address front sway bar geometry with your choice of a Sway Bar Drop Bracket & Carli Extended Sway Bar End Link combination or upgrade to our full replacement Torsion Sway Bar for a more compliant feel and increased articulation with minimal body roll.

Rear Suspension Options:

  • Leaf Spring Configurations:
    • Choose between a Full Progressive Spring Pack (reducing capacity to a “light” ¾-ton) or a Progressive Add-a-Pack that eliminates the factory block while maintaining payload capacity.

  • F250 and F350 Compatibility:
    • Since 2008, F250 and F350 trucks have different spring packs; the F250 features a lighter rate pack (2 main leaves) compared to the F350 (3 main leaves).
    • For F350 models, we recommend the Full Replacement Leaf Spring Packs for optimal performance. If you own an F250 built with the Tremor or high-capacity tow package, avoid the add-a-pack as it may not perform well.

  • Airbag System Integration:
    • If capacity is a concern, consider an aftermarket airbag system to complement the Full Progressive Leaf Springs, allowing for disconnection during suspension cycling to maximize rear travel.
    • The Full Progressive Leaf Spring Pack will shift the axle slightly forward for maximum tire clearance with 37” M/T tires at full compression.

 

Wheel and Tire: Factory Wheels SHOULD NOT be run with oversized tires. They’re known to rub the radius arm, sway bar and most concerning – Brake Lines. Factory tires and factory wheels will work without issue but we DO NOT recommend running oversized tires on factory wheels. On our 4.5” Ford Systems, we recommend 17”-18” wheels, no more than 9” wide with 5” of backspacing with a 37”, E-Rated Tire. The more rubber, the better the small bump compliance will be at proper inflation pressures. The ride will firm up as you go larger in wheel diameter.
