Introducing the Pintop System, our most popular, all-around suspension solution designed for Super Duty owners seeking unparalleled performance both on and off the road. Think of it as the Backcountry on steroids—designed to tackle everything from daily drives to rugged off-road adventures.

Key Features:

  • Enhanced Ride Quality:
    • The Pintop system transforms your on-road experience, smoothing out sharp edges and making light to medium off-road excursions feel controlled and effortless.
    • Most Carli videos showcase the Pintop kit, highlighting its extreme capabilities.

  • 2.5” King Shocks:
    • Equipped with Carli-specific, blueprinted King 2.5” shocks on all corners, offering 55% more piston surface area than standard 2.0” shocks. This enhances both on-road and off-road handling.
    • Custom-designed pistons ensure optimal base flow rates and are tuned for the ultimate seat-of-the-pants feel.

  • Durable Shock Construction:
    • All King shocks feature shafts made from solid 17-4 Stainless Steel—unlike standard coated shafts, these won’t wear off or succumb to weather damage. Minor chips can be easily smoothed out with emery cloth.
    • Finished with King oil rated for temperatures down to -55° F.

Front Suspension Upgrades:

  • Increased Ride Height:
    • Your truck will sit 3.5” higher in the front, complemented by lighter rate Carli Coil Springs for increased wheel travel.

  • Full Front Geometry Adjustments:
    • The Adjustable Track Bar centers the front axle, while Stainless Brake Lines ensure adequate length for the new travel.
    • Radius Arm Drop Brackets and 1° Caster Shims correct caster and enhance tracking.
    • A High-Clearance Bump Stop Drop keeps the springs from contacting the factory bump stop.

  • Sway Bar Solutions:
    • Choose between Sway Bar Drop Brackets (cost-effective and maintains factory links) or Extended Sway Bar Links with relocation brackets for a robust upgrade.
    • For ultimate ride quality, consider our Torsion Sway Bar, which enhances compliance and articulation while slightly increasing body roll.

Rear Suspension Options:

  • Leaf Spring Choices:
    • Upgrade your rear with a Full Progressive Spring Pack (reducing capacity to a “light” ¾-ton) or use the Progressive Add-a-Pack to maintain payload capacity while eliminating the factory block.

  • F250 vs. F350 Considerations:
    • The F250 has a lighter rate spring pack (2 main leaves) compared to the F350 (3 main leaves). The F250 Add-a-Pack offers a significant improvement, while the F350 remains stiff unless loaded.
    • For F350 models, we recommend the Full Replacement Leaf Spring Packs for optimal performance.

  • Airbag System Recommendations:
    • If capacity is a concern, complement the Full Progressive Leaf Springs with an aftermarket airbag system that allows for disconnection during suspension cycling, maximizing rear travel.
    • The Full Progressive Leaf Spring Pack will shift the axle slightly forward, ensuring clearance for 37” M/T tires at full compression.

Important Installation Notes:

  • To achieve the proper rear height stance, installation of an Add-a-Pack or Full Progressive Leaf Spring Pack is necessary. Without these, an F250 will sit rear-low.
  • If a Carli rear spring option is not purchased, a taller 2017-19 Ford 3″ rear block can be installed for a leveled stance, though rear ride quality may not be optimized (Factory Block PN: HC3Z-5598-A and HC3Z-5598-B) Which can be found HERE

Wheel and Tire: Factory Wheels SHOULD NOT be run with oversized tires. They’re known to rub the radius arm, sway bar and most concerning – Brake Lines. Factory tires and factory wheels will work without issue but we DO NOT recommend running oversized tires on factory wheels. On our 2.5” Ford Systems, we recommend 17”-18” wheels, no more than 9” wide with 5.5” of backspacing with Carli Fabricated Radius Arms or 5” Backspace with factory arms; 5” will require a bit more trimming. Tires, 37×12.5” will fit with some trimming; 35” will likely fit without trimming. The more rubber, the better the small bump compliance will be at proper inflation pressures.
