Choose between two matched FOX suspension configurations based on your truck’s intended use and desired level of adjustability.

FOX 2.0 Performance Series Front and Rear Package

The FOX 2.0 Performance Series package is ideal for daily-driven Ram 1500 trucks that also see towing, ranch roads, overland travel, jobsite use, and recreational off-road driving.

FOX 2.0 Performance Series front coilovers replace the factory strut assemblies with complete, application-specific coilovers. Their aluminum monotube construction improves heat dissipation, while the internal floating-piston design separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen charge for consistent damping.

Matching FOX 2.0 Performance Series rear shocks provide balanced suspension control across the entire truck. Vehicle-specific valving helps improve ride quality, stability, and handling on pavement and rough terrain.

FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Front and Rear Package

For maximum suspension control, heat management, and adjustability, choose the complete FOX 2.5 Performance Elite package. This configuration includes FOX 2.5 Performance Elite front coilovers and matching FOX 2.5 Performance Elite rear shocks.

Large 2.5-inch aluminum shock bodies and external reservoirs increase shock-fluid capacity and improve cooling during extended off-road use. This helps maintain consistent damping when traveling across rough terrain, carrying additional equipment, or driving at higher speeds.

FOX Dual Speed Compression adjusters allow the driver to independently tune low-speed and high-speed compression damping. Each shock offers 10 low-speed and 12 high-speed compression settings, allowing the suspension to be adjusted for daily driving, towing, cargo, terrain, and driving speed.

High-Clearance Front Suspension Design

BDS uses high-arched, 1/4-inch-thick steel crossmembers to maximize ground clearance while creating a strong foundation for the lifted front suspension.

A multipiece skid-plate system ties the crossmembers together to form a rigid subframe and provide additional protection for critical drivetrain components. Multipoint differential relocation brackets reposition and secure the front differential to maintain proper CV axle operating angles at the new ride height.

Corrected Steering Geometry

CNC-machined ductile-iron steering knuckles correct steering geometry at the taller ride height while maintaining compatibility with the truck’s Electronic Stability Control system.

Replacement tie-rod ends, differential relocation components, sway-bar drops, and CV spacers work together to create a complete suspension system rather than relying on simple spacers to achieve lift.

Standard and Large-Bore OE Knuckle Sizes

The 2025–2026 Ram 1500 uses different front wheel-bearing and steering-knuckle configurations depending on how the truck was originally equipped. BDS offers this lift kit with either Standard Bore or Large Bore replacement steering knuckles.

Selecting the correct knuckle option is critical because the factory wheel-bearing assembly must properly fit the replacement BDS steering knuckle.

Standard-Bore Knuckle

Select the Standard Bore configuration for applicable trucks that do not use the larger factory wheel-bearing assembly associated with the factory 22-inch wheel package.

Vehicle equipment and build information should still be verified before ordering.

Large-Bore Knuckle

Ram 1500 trucks originally equipped with factory 22-inch wheels require the Large Bore steering-knuckle configuration. These trucks use a larger factory wheel-bearing assembly that will not fit the standard-bore BDS knuckle.

Look for either of the following factory build codes:

• WPM
• WPZ

A truck equipped with one of these codes requires the Large Bore kit configuration.

The factory build codes can typically be verified through the vehicle’s equipment listing, build sheet, VIN information, or dealership parts department. Do not select the knuckle size based only on the wheels currently installed, as a previous owner may have changed the factory wheel package.

Progressive-Rate Rear Coil Springs

The rear suspension uses BDS Pro-Ride progressive-rate coil springs designed to provide a controlled ride while supporting the truck at its new height.

The progressive spring design allows the suspension to remain compliant during normal driving while increasing support as the spring compresses under heavier loads or larger impacts.

Rear upper-control-arm relocation brackets help correct pinion angle, while the track-bar relocation bracket repositions the rear axle beneath the truck. Extended sway-bar links and bump-stop extensions complete the rear geometry corrections.

Recommended Wheel and Tire Fitment

This BDS 6-Inch Lift Kit provides clearance for up to 37-inch tires when used with the proper wheel specifications.

Recommended combinations include:

• 37x12.50 tires with 18x9 wheels and 4.5 inches of backspacing
• 37x12.50 tires with 20x9 wheels and 5 inches of backspacing

Trimming may be required depending on tire manufacturer, actual tire dimensions, wheel width, offset, backspacing, alignment settings, and vehicle configuration.

Aftermarket 18-inch wheels with 4.5 inches of backspacing must be test-fitted before tires are mounted to confirm adequate clearance.

Important Fitment Notes

• Fits applicable 2025–2026 Ram 1500 4WD models.
• Fits models equipped with the 3.0L Hurricane I6, 3.6L V6, and applicable 5.7L V8 engines.
• Does not fit diesel-powered models.
• Does not fit trucks equipped with adjustable factory air suspension.
• Does not fit models equipped with the Thermal Axle option.
• Check for build code DSK-P or inspect the differential cover for axle-cooling lines when identifying the Thermal Axle option.

• Factory 18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled because of steering-component interference.
• Factory 20-inch and 22-inch wheels may be reinstalled when used with the factory tire size.
• Both the main and auxiliary batteries must be disconnected before installation when the truck is equipped with two batteries.
• BDS front bumper spacer kit BDS122004 is recommended for additional tire-to-fender clearance and is sold separately.
• The included replacement front brake lines are not used on 2025 models; the supplied relocation brackets are used instead.
• Professional installation and a complete wheel alignment are recommended.
