These performance struts directly replace the factory front dampers while retaining the original coil springs and upper mounting plates. Their aluminum monotube bodies dissipate heat more efficiently than conventional steel twin-tube shocks, helping provide more consistent performance during extended driving.

An internal floating piston separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen charge, reducing aeration and maintaining predictable damping under changing road and trail conditions.

High-Clearance BDS Crossmembers

BDS uses high-arched, 1/4-inch-thick laser-cut steel crossmembers to maximize ground clearance and create a strong foundation for the lifted front suspension.

The front skid-plate system ties the crossmembers together to form a rigid subframe while providing additional protection for the front differential and critical drivetrain components.

Heavy-Duty Steering Knuckles

CNC-machined ductile-iron steering knuckles correct steering geometry at the new ride height. Replacement tie-rod ends work with the BDS knuckles to maintain proper steering angles and Electronic Stability Control compatibility.

Multipiece differential relocation brackets lower and secure the front differential to help restore proper CV axle operating angles. Sway-bar relocation brackets, brake-line brackets, alignment cam bolts, and vehicle-specific hardware complete the front suspension system.

Rear Lift Options

High-strength fabricated rear lift blocks and longer U-bolts raise the rear of the truck while retaining the factory leaf springs.

Available rear block configurations allow the final stance to be adjusted based on customer preference. One option provides a more traditional tail-high truck stance, while the lower block option creates a more level or slightly tail-low appearance.

The new BDS lift blocks replace the factory rear blocks. The factory blocks are not stacked or reused.

Recommended Wheel and Tire Fitment

The BDS 4-Inch Lift Kit provides clearance for up to 35-inch tires with the correct wheel width, offset, and backspacing.

Common recommended combinations include:

• 33x12.50 tires with 20x9 wheels and approximately 5 inches of backspacing
• 35x12.50 tires with 20x9 wheels and approximately 5.5 inches of backspacing
• Select strut-spacer packages may use 20x8 or 20x9 wheels with approximately 5.5 to 5.75 inches of backspacing

Trimming or crash-bar modification may be required depending on the wheel and tire combination. Actual clearance varies by tire manufacturer, wheel width, offset, backspacing, vehicle configuration, and alignment settings.

Important Fitment Notes

• Fits applicable 2021–2026 Ford F-150 4WD models.
• Does not fit diesel-powered models.
• Does not fit trucks equipped with Continuous Controlled Damping.
• Frame-bracket modification is required.
• Requires 18-inch or larger-diameter wheels.
• Factory 17-inch and 18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled.
