The Carli 3.25″ Lift Backcountry Suspension System is a balanced performance upgrade designed for 2019-present Ram 3500 4×4 diesel trucks with factory leaf springs who want both comfortable on-road manners and capable slow-to-mid speed off-road performance. Built around Carli’s proven suspension tuning and premium components, this system enhances your truck’s daily ride comfort, towing stability, and gravel-road confidence without resorting to overly stiff, race-focused kit behavior. 

At the heart of the Backcountry System are Carli SPEC 2.0″ remote reservoir shocks, engineered for smooth, consistent damping with excellent heat control and reliable performance over varied terrain. These shocks feature 6063 aluminum bodies with anodized corrosion protection, hardened chrome-plated shafts, and serviceable billet rod ends — all spec’d with premium 5WT shock oil for a wide range of operating conditions. 

This system lifts your Ram’s front about 3.25″–3.5″ (cab-dependent) while increasing usable suspension travel by roughly 50 % over stock — approximately **9.5″ front and 11.3″ rear — allowing smoother compliance and better traction on rough roads. The rear lift (2″–2.5″) is achieved through your choice of Progressive Add-A-Pack with blocks or full Progressive Leaf Packs, letting you tailor rear ride feel and load support to your needs. 

To maintain proper suspension geometry and handling after lift, the Backcountry System includes a suite of geometry correction hardware such as an Adjustable Track Bar to recenter the front axle and Radius Arm Drop Brackets to restore caster and correct axle placement. Bump stop drops and rear track bar drop brackets help maximize shock travel and minimize rear “yaw,” giving you a more confident, composed feel in corners and over uneven ground. 

The system supports up to 37″ x 12.5″ tires with the right wheels and backspacing without extensive trimming, giving your truck an aggressive stance with enhanced clearance. Carli also offers optional sway bar solutions (such as the torsion sway bar) to improve ride quality and articulation even further.
